Gouache and I... we have this love/hate thing going on. I paint and paint and paint, and it looks worse and worse and worse, until I'm so mad at it that I want to throw it out the window, then it says to me "Just kidding!!
 " and all of a sudden, it starts looking pretty good. Then things start falling apart, and the cycle continues.The trick is, stopping when I'm on an up-swing. -------- P.S. Someone tell me what happened to my digital painting skills, cause they seem to have been left far behind. Hmm. Good thing I'm taking a digital illustration class next semester. Get some good practice in. |

So I might start playing around with that when I get some time.
Usually, I'm sitting there, trying to think up something and someone near me says something like "skull" and then I say "Oh I know! I'll paint a demon-fighting pilot guy!" Or they say "Paint a fish!" and I'll reply "Ooh. I'll paint a lady underwater, about to be attacked by an eel!"
But this time around, one of my friends told me to draw a picture of her as a little girl holding a bunny. I thought to myself "I haven't drawn anything super cute... ever. Maybe that'll be challenging."
Yeah. It was a little too challenging. For the life of me, I could NOT draw a cute little girl and a bunny. So I drew a space pirate and a lizard bunny instead.
